Date of most recent update: 03/03/2014

The Online and Mobile Privacy Policy (Policy) explains our practices with regard to the “Personal Identifiable Information” collected from visitors to our website and mobile applications (collectively known as ‘Site’). Personal Identifiable Information is any information that can be used to identify, locate, or contact you.

Information that we may collect about you through online interaction includes information that you input, such as your first name, last name, address, zip code, and e-mail address. Also, your login information (User ID and Password) used to authenticate you when you log in to the Opus Bank's Online Banking or Mobile Banking on our homepage or directly through a login page is collected. This information is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, a security protocol that helps to ensure the data sent over the Internet between your computer and Opus Bank (the “Bank”) remains confidential. Further, we may also collect additional information such as the type of device and browser you are using, the IP address of your device, information about your device’s operating system, and additional information associated with your device. We may also gather information collected through cookies, tags, and other technologies.

In many cases, we collect Personal Identifiable Information directly from you. We will ask you for your information when you interact with us, such as signing up to receive subscriptions to various banking topics that interest you.

If you interact with us online, we use cookies and other technology tools to collect information about your computer and your use of our Site. We treat this information as Personal Identifiable Information when it is associated with your Contact Information. For more information about cookies and other technologies, please see the section About Cookies below.

A cookie is a piece of data sent from a Site that is stored in your browser. Cookies are commonly used on Websites and do not harm your system. To provide better service and a more effective Site and mobile app, we use "cookies" as part of our interaction with your browser.

Our Site does not process or respond to "do not track" requests or other similar web browser mechanisms, which enable users to indicate an opt-out preference regarding the collection of Personal Identifiable Information. By using our Site, you acknowledge and agree that anonymous information may be collected. By completing a form or other request for information, you agree to the collection of this information. Please note that industry standards are currently evolving and we may not separately respond to or take any action with respect to a “do not track” configuration set in your internet browser.

If you do not bank online with us, we do not collect, capture, or retain Personal Identifiable Information when you are just browsing our online products and services. As a visitor to our Site, the web server automatically recognizes only:
